My First Wedding!

Hey Everyone! Happy Weekend!

Last year I had the opportunity to help a bride on a budget.
I have a talent with working on a budget.
My "Closest" friend.... I will refer to her as my "Other Sister" from now
on. She is not just my "Closest" friend, she in genuinely my other sister.
She has been there for me since design was just a dream, just
one of my biggest supporters.

She introduced me to an acquaintance
of hers that was getting married, but on an extreme budget when it came to
the floral arrangements. Of course my Other Sister knew it would be something I would be
interested in. She knows I work Miracles.

The ceremony would be held at a golf course that has an altar for weddings.
The venue had a tight schedule of weddings that day. so I was told that the flowers needed
to be something that would need to be taken down fast.
I was up for the challenge and this is what I created.

INTRODUCTION: The Hub! My best worker!

As far as her center pieces, she wanted a very organic feel for her floral arrangements
and the mason jars were a must for her. The wedding was a backyard
wedding, so she wanted that garden theme. This is what I came up with...

Not bad for my first Wedding.... I didn't take any photos of them placed on the tables because
I delivered them the evening before, due to the fact that I wouldn't have time to deliver
the arrangements and still complete the Altar. We're only a team of 2!

Hope you guys enjoy it!

Always,

    1. Thank you Jessica! At first I wanted to do something grand and big, but she wanted simple and I think the jars worked great.

    1. Me too I can't get enough of them. I planted 13 small bushes last spring and looking to see how big they get this year. The Budget was extremely tight. I'm always down at our Flower Mart often, so I always get the best price from the wonderful vendors.

  10. Love...these are amazing....regardless of budget! I love the alter arrangements, with the weepeing green vines (don't know what they actually are). With all of this talent with florals, how is it that you can't keep them alive?!?! ;)

I also really live the color in the other arrangements. The bride must have been so pleased with the outcome.

  11. A little powdered bleach and sugar. The Budget was low when I started then all of a sudden they slashed it more then half... Ugh if I ever get married, I mean forget the food... I want the most over the top flowers... problem would be that I would want to make them myself!

  12. Beautiful! I love the hydrangeas arrangements, at first I thought they were on a pedestal, but no, great idea! The centerpieces are equally gorgeous. I wish I could call my hubby the best worker, he is kind of far away from that title! :)
